Polysync on Windows 7

Hi,

My department is now replacing all the computer OS from XP to 7.

I have successfully installed my Vectrino Plus on it, although have not run it yet.

But the polysync launcher just didn't run at all.

Is the Polysync v.1.17 compatible to Windows 7?

Hi Paul,

I was able to get the Polysync launcher to run and install on a Windows 7 computer running the 64-bit version of Windows 7 (so I'm assuming the 32-bit variant will be fine). I did receive a warning saying Windows thought the software didn't install correctly, but I said it did and the application seems to be running fine, however I don't have a Vectrino handy to check it totally.

I would recommend trying to download the installer again just to make sure there wasn't a problem with the original. I do know you need to enter a name and a company on the license page or the installer won't proceed, but that doesn't sound like the problem you're running into.

Let me know if you get it working, and if not then we'll move on to the next step.

What actually happened to me is what I installed Polysync on Windows 7, the launcher didn't respond or run at all.

There's even no installation page!

I also installed the same program on another computer with Windows XP on it, then the installation was just fine.

I will try to install it again to see what would happed.
