Spam in the forum
After some internal discussion, we have decided to maintain a policy where we allow people to post in the forum without excessive moderation. It can be quite frustrating to have to wait 12-24 hours for a posting to appear and we don't see this as viable option. For now, we have instead decided to stay vigilant and delete the spam postings as they appear.

Oh - btw - if anyone with a *.ru domain tries to register you can't. Sorry about that.

At this point we have decided to look at it as a challenge
'> One of the steps we have had to take is to stop people from registering using standard email providers like aol, yahoo, etc. This will also affect the innocent so you may find that you cannot register with your favorite account. The way around this is to use a "real" email address. There is no need to worry about this - we promise not to use your email address for anything but forum related stuff.

We are pleased to report that the spam problem is gone with the introduction of Plonebaord. Puhh!
Dear Ken,
With real e-mail address we meant from your work or institute - not gmail. If this isn't possible please tell us at inquiry@nortek.no, please also tell us what you need access to.
Best regards

Hi Ken, we provide this forum a free service. Without getting into a lengthy debate, I suppose the only thing we ask of you in return is that you give us your real identity. So far it has been our experience that this happen much more often when you have to use a real domain when registering. I know it is a little annoying but so far it has worked and we have very few outburst in the forum. Or maybe I am just paranoid from having spent too much time in game forums...
Best regards, Atle Lohrmann
